Perimenopause is the time period in a patient’s reproductive life just prior to the complete cessation of menses. During this time, premenopausal patients may experience symptoms as a result of changes in hormones, yet are still at risk for pregnancy. This webinar explores the considerations for contraceptive counseling with patients at this time in their lives. We also discuss how hormonal contraception can provide perimenopause symptom relief.
