This article states the consequences of framing reproductive health in cisgender language which excludes transgender and nonbinary patients. This article discusses barriers for nonbinary patients and the consequences of using excluding language and resources. It gives clear, actionable steps and suggested language to make a reproductive health clinic more inclusive.
